Mario's tours and restaurant

Has anybody recently stayed in the campground at Mario's in Guerrero Negro? We have always stayed at Malarrimos but we are meeting an old friend that stayed at Mario's and liked it better. (He pulls a large 5th wheel and said the Mario's was easier to get in and out. ) Any recent reports on Marios? Thanks Ron

Mario's is much easier in and out than Malarimos.
Full hook-ups and more space to spread out or walk dogs.
The restaurant is also pretty good but a little pricey.

La Espinita which is before you get to Mario's coming from the North is a much better deal. I think they get 4 or 5 bucks, have a great restaurant, and it is easy to get in and out of. I agree with Diver that the prices were very high and I think Mario's is way past it's prime.

Mario sure tries hard to run a good park and restaurant, but the wind out there gets awful.
Also, his tanked in water is putrid, and each row of sites is on a single electric circuit. More than a few rigs and you get brownout.
