Whoa!

I have never seen a vulture carry a stick that large for his nest :o

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

Serendipity is the mother of great photography. Nat Geo shooters don't rely so much on luck as they do on full immersion by using a motor drive that covers a subject like a Gatling Gun. In the wake of a barrage of Kodachrome will be, hopefully, the Defining Moment that will make the cover.
Great photos are more often a result of post-processing evaluation than previsualization and planning.
Fire at will..........

Thanks Woody, but there is a major flaw in that image. Surprised no one mentioned it.
I think you might like some of the recent blog pics.
Digital cameras are terrific, no need to bracket, buy Extachrome film for warmth or carry a bunch of filters for example. And if it isn't perfect, you can manipulate it w/ photoshop or gimp. And create special effects like this mirror/beach image, which is actually 2 photos and line drawing.

Oh, I thought it was showing an illegal activity (driving on the beach) LOL!

Nice photos... if not way bigger than Nomad's requested 800 pixel limits!

Thanks Willy... I would like to see photos of your Willys Wagon here.

Thanks David. Actually, there has been a local effort to prevent driving on that beach - broken glass has been placed on all the trails.

Boy, that's a real smart idea:light::lol:

If Mexico used broken glass and plastic bags as its basis for its currency, it would be the wealthiest nation on earth ...:biggrin:

Richard, maybe you were being sarcastic....if not, also keep an eye open for barbed wire, nails, and chollo...

In the meantime.... (south of Mulege):
