Caravan part way from San Diego thru Tecate
We're leaving SD through Tecate on Jan. 30 to arrive in Loreto Feb. 1. Plan to stay in El Rosario and 2nd stop to be determined. Would like to
caravan at least south of Ensenda. We'll be in our Honda CRV.

convoy through Tecate
My wife and I will be staying at Portrero Regional Park on Sunday Jan 30 and make the Tecate border crossing on Monday Morning Jan 31. Our first
night in Mexico we will stay in Puerto San Isidro (Malibu Beach Resort). Our ultimate destination is El Cardinal, between La Paz and Los Barilles
arriving there around Feb. 8 or 9th. If any of that itinerary floats your boat please reply.
On a different note: Does anyone have an opinion on Eddies Hideaway in El Cardinal?

Darn.....so sorry that won't work for us. But, thank you for responding! We need to be in Loreto on Feb. 1. It's funny......we're coming from
Florence, Oregon. We'll go right past you when we head to I-5!

why cross in tecate if you're in a crv
the road is still bad just south of tecate
it'll beat the sh*t out of your car
i'd cross in tj
the tolls are for a crv are $2.20 $2.20 $2.30
the toll road is excellent, safe and fast
WAY better

Thank you so much for your post, Bob and Susan. We thought it would be less confusing through Tecate, but will change our plans. We have a GPS with
a card for Mexico. Let's hope she does a good job of guiding us! We haven't driven through TJ in MANY years.

Since we're not familiar with an address to put in for the GPS to guide us south, do you have a suggestion?
Is early Sunday morning a good time to cross there?
Thank YOU!
