LA PAZ FESTIVAL..JUST DRIVING THROUGH
Hola,
i am going to be driving through la paz during festival, march 3 to 9, on my way to the east cape and just stopping at walmart for a few things.
as i have never been to the festival, would it be a problem with revelers for me to just drive through on my way south in the afternoon hours on mex 1
?
i thank you in advance,
BIEN SALUD, DA RAT

Rat, the festivities will be on the Malecon primarily, so you can hit WalMart without hitting, driving through or dodging the revelers!

Good job with the satellite map morgaine7!
Last time I was in La Paz, we would turn right at the whale's tail to cut across to the highway out of town... that was in Dec. 2001!
Then there was a debate if it was a whale's tail or two doves...

Because in the good old days (before my time) everybody had one--windmills were scattered all over the town, as if they were trees. Made for good
photos.

I am self-convinced the artist was trying to blend two images. The dove is a sign of peace and love, La Paz, City Of Peace! The whale tail as a sign
of unquestionable oceanic life and beauty here in my new home! As I watched the full moon peek up over the mountains behind the city and light up the
bay last night, I knew I made the right choice, again!
Keep your eyes on the road, and your hands upon the wheel!
