That is BajaCactus' station and he probably has some local businesses (ejido or fishing co-op) set up on credit?

Probably some kind of Co-Op voucher. I've seen shoppers in stores using what looked like food-stamps. I suppose that's what they are.

I say "Probably" and "I suppose" because I'm guessing.

I think yoi mean SCRIP; not SCRIPT : Scrip is any substitute for currency which is not legal tender and is often a form of credit. Scrips were created as company payment of employees and also ...
I think the new 100P notes look like scrip :lol:
