Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

Marc, I use a Nikon D-60 with my new lens, a Nikon 70 ~300. I really like that lens. I get a much sharper auto focus than ether of my kit lenses. I really like what I've been reading about Nikons new 7000 camera but it's way too rich for my blood.
Sally, I think Martyman asked if it was a "Phoebe". I haven't a clue what it is.
I just googled Phobe bird and I think that's it.

Russ. I checked the Birds of N. America book. This also could be Pyrocephalus rubinus. Vermilion Flycatcer. Hope it stays around to catch your flys.:tumble:

Russ, Say's Phoebe is in the first photo. Great Crested flycatcher lives somewhere else.

Russ & BigOly. Looked again at the pictuers of the Flycatcher. The bird you shot(pictuer) sure looks like a inmature female. and they do range in the Baja? I will bring book when I come down.

I'm not sure. No white eyebrow. Here is a photo I took yesterday of what I think is a Say's Phoebe. There are no male Vermillion flycatchers around here now, they are easy to spot. Very hard to get close to.

Flycatchers are, for me, one of the hardest birds to key out. The vermillion flycatcher is an obvious exception.

BigOly, I must confess I enhanced my shots a bit so actually your colors are closer to correct than mine are.
