Great shots Russ! That type of cloud patterns & color displays are rare! They look more like tie-dyed silk than sunrises to me. I captured some similar to your "fire on the horizon" shots in December:

It never ceases to amaze me the sunrises you capture on days when sunrises are totally non-events here overlooking the Bay of La Paz. It's all about where the clouds happen to show up & how Mother Nature arranges them in the sky!
