gasoline in San Ignacio

The PEMEX station in San Ignacio has not had gas for a few days. Some gas is being sold there from fifty gallon drums. Be sure to tank up in Vizcaino or Santa Rosalia.

Perhaps Mulege rather than Santa Rosalia?......unless certain complaints about Santa Rosalia are unfounded?

Of the four stations in Santa Rosalia, the one next to the north end of the harbor, on the east side of the road seemed honest and is not owned by the person who owns the other three... The one north of downtown at the mini market (although one of the terrible three) was honest when I used it back in '07...). I errored last trip and stopped at the other east side station, furthwer north from the harbor in '09... and recorded unusually poor mileage (because it showed more liters pumped than I actually got).

Sounds like this may be a dispute between Pemex and the franchisee. That station is just too close to Santa Rosalia to have transportation issues be a problem.
