Years ago I saw one at Lake Camanche,Ca. I thought I was so lucky. Then I saw one or two at Cantivina...Just a quick look...no time for pic,s, I thought they were almost gone then...Wow nice to see the pic,s Thanks

I grew up near Fresno and as a kid we used to see them all the time. We used to catch horned toads and tranchulas in the fields, too. The San Joaquin used to be a desert.



This guy ran through the yard yesterday. He hopped up onto the fence & was gone.
