Nothing you shouldn't be unable to live with.
One piece of advice, if at all possible, get a minisplit for the room you sleep in. A comfortable place to sleep is all important.

the winds are all but gone in the summer months....and you're right; hot, hot, hot....be willing to spend some serious dinero for air conditioning
during that time or you'll be muy uncomfortable...july, august, september are not fun times here...but the fishing is good!

In my opinion, it's more about the humidity than the heat. That said, the idea of having A/C is paramount. A/C is actualy more effective when there is
high humidity.

i think it is ok till mid july then it is stifling thru 1st week in oct.
aug and sept are brutal.
i'd never live there then.
even w/ AC it is very muggy and no cool off in the night.
i was there twice last aug on consecutive weekends for a drop off and return, had a killer place on the river w/ best AC money could buy - and i said
never again!! hahaha but yes you will catch monster fish!!

If you have a place there already...dont you know the summer temps? I have a place in San Felipe that I have never been too.....in the summer.
......and I know its 100+. I need not ask this sort of question
Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

a mini split is an airconditioning unit...business end outside the house connected to a wall mounted thingie inside. no ductwork needed. usually
run via remote. very popular in Mexico. more efficient than window units. your electricity bill will definitely go up in the summer using
ac...ask locally for an idea of representative costs. think lots of ceiling fans, too. hopefully your house is situated to catch whatever breezes
there may be, and it's shaded somehow, too.
summers...mid-July.August, Sept, early October... are brutal and yes it's the humidity not the heat, I go to Phoenix to get away from the weather in
Loreto. it's a dry heat there and I"m fine with 110-120 and zero humidity. the worst part, in my opinion, is that it doesn't cool down here at night
which is why people are recommending ac in the bedroom at a minimum. however, think of how/where you are going to live in the day time, too. it's
not like you can go to a mall or a movie...
reality\'s never been of much use out here...

Out here in Loma Azul we'll get enough light breezes to make things bearable, except between 11:00 & 2:00. then use your fans & spritzers. Of
course, I grew up in Fresno, so hot is relative. An ac unit of some kind is essential at night. Don't worry about the elect. costs- compared to P.G.
& E. it's almost free. Just look forward to October!

can't argue with that...the ACTIVITIES are great, the water lovely, clear, etc, which I why I try to stick it out til I get murderously cranky from
heat (usually can make it well into August). be sure you have the toys...boats, swimming pool, ocean access, snorkle/dive stuff, etc or access to
same.
I know nothing about Italians, though...
reality\'s never been of much use out here...

I have lived in Conception Bay for almost 40 years...only brave..or stupid...enough to spend 3 summers here, hoping the next would be cooler than the
last. No such luck.
I do not think you would like that kind of heat and humidity at times. Heatstroke can kill you.
I have some photos of how I tried to keep cool. Standing under my 45 ft high water tower platform and letting the 4 1000 liter tanks overflow --
creating a cooling waterfall for me standing naked underneath. (NO shari..I am not going to post those, thank you) That was refreshing...while you
were underneath the waterfall. By the time I walked the 100 yards back to mi casa, I was sweltering hot and sweatyh all over again.
I tried all the tricks and then some.
The only way to enjoy the summer without living inside with A/C..yuck...is to have a cabin boat and go fishing/cruising the Sea of Cortez (NOT THE
BAY). My old cabin cruiser, Pompano was our salvation. Nights are sea were cool..and spectacular! Moon, stars, whales, porpoise, manta rays, the
wake from the ferry that just missed us, and of course..the first mate was the star attraction for me.
One photo showed 121F inside my garage. I packed and went north the next day.
The beaches are Americano-deserted here in the summer, but still some heat loving Europeans like it...the younger ones, anyway. I once had a group
party of scallop divers at mi casa in August. We were about 45 strong and from 15 different countries. We were the only ones from the USA. Our own
little United Nations.
Be advised: The Bay is ALWAYS MUCH HOTTER than Mulege in the summer.
A favorite expression for the Bay in summer. "IT'S HOTTER THAN THE GATES OF HELL!!"
Actually, Loma Azul is going to be one of the cooler places to be for the summer..but still HOT. Talk to MacyMan up there, also Claudia and Miguel,
Maria, Dan B, lots of folks up there..then down the El Patron beach cafe ect. ect...you will get lots of tips and good info. Some adjust, some do
not. Have a good one..and keep cool!

Are u kidding, you've never been to san felipe in summer. I will give u a break if you don't have A/C, but if you do have air, SF is great til about
July 4
After that
SF turns into a new weight loss program!
As bob barker would say, "come on down"

Thats why I like Punta Chivato. Very nice breeze off the ocean most of the time, but the nights of no breeze its nice to have A/C. always 10 less
than Mulege or SR.

Yea, don't you KNOW the temperature in the summer months!? How do you have a place there and haven't spent some time there during the hottest summer
months of (July-Sept)? Regardless, you're going to need an A/C unit to maintain the inside temp to a comfortable 78 degrees or so plus to remove a lot
of the humidity. Good luck!
Just do it!
