Frolicking baby whale and dolphin buddies

We were treated to a show right off the beach yesterday. I'm guessing this is a Mom and energetic baby. Lots of tail slapping and rolling (the whales, and us).

The most amazing part- watch closely for the dolphins. About 10 of them hung around for at least an hour and joined in the frolicking. The baby would roll over with it's fins in the air on the surface of the water and the dolphins would glide across it's belly. The baby would have a sudden urge to sprint off and the dolphins would chase it and get out front to ride his bow wake. When he returned to his mom, the dolphins followed him back and the frolicking resumed.

What a treat.

For faster downloading, where it says "Sizes" on the website, choose "web". But you'll need a magnifying glass to see it.

The "Ipod/Dvd" size is a little bigger.

"Mid/def" size allows you to view the video in the size of the photo above. If you have satellite internet, it takes a few seconds to download.
