Back in 1988 the exact same thing happen to a guy riding with us near Colonet. He was wearing a full face helmet. We brought him across the border to the first hospital the border agent recommended and they sewed it from the inside and outside of the cut. He didn't bleed much the whole time driving.

I was riding with a friend once who crashed and was impaled by a stick that went through his scrotum between his testicles and in about 6 inches. Needless to say, there was no more riding for him that day. He did make a complete recovery.
