Shari

I cannot help this time but will be going North around May17th or so in my RV from Loreto.

Let me know if I can help at that time.

By the way, which baby are you talking about that is the "sweetest baby in the whole world?"

Shari,
This is Randy from Mulege. I have a friend who is driving down alone and would probably enjoy the company. I think she is leaving today or within the next few days, from Northern Nevada.
Does your daughter carry a cell phone or is there a number where she can be reached in Ensenada? Would make it easier to meet up with her since sometimes its hard to pin down an exact time of arrival.

I've left a message and will let you know when she returns my call.

years ago as a fledgling ranger at the mouth of the columbia river i headed out early one morning in my old econoline van headed for the naselle river and a huge run of winter steelhead..i was almost to the river when i hit the only unsanded stretch of icy road, spun in a circle and rolled the van down a 30' bank..i still remember in slow motion all my fishing gear, rods, ice chest, and an opened container of freshly put up salmon eggs flying all around me..anyway, finally came to a stop and discovered i was still alive...crawled up the bank and the first rig to stop was the sanding truck..thanks!...he took me to the wrecking yard where i called my boss to come get me....my van eventually showed up on the south end of a tow truck and while i waited for my boss to get here i unloaded the van...miraculously, none of the three rods i had brought had been broken!..i emptied the van, stacked it all outside, leaned the rods up against it and waited...the hefe showed up soon and we started loading stuff into his truck...doors to the van were still open so i slammed the back one and promptly sheared in half all my rods..why do i still fish?
