La Bamba 50's Diner in Rosarito

They were granted their liquor license on the day we last visited in April.

We had lunch there the other day; they have a full bar with wine by the quarter bottle and a good selection of bottled beers (Bohemia, Modelo, Negro Modelo and the other light colored stuff).

The food, in true 50's diner style, was, as always, excellently prepared; plain and simple American style and served in LARGE portions.

I am so glad that they got things squared away with the authorities and will be around when we want to have a great meal in a nostalgic American-50's-diner-themed restaurant.

Sadly, they have now closed their doors permanently.
