Cruise ship passenger missing: Ensenada to San Diego (Updated 5/5: a jumper)

Frontera is reporting a 65 year old female was missing from the Celebrity Millennium when it docked in San Diego at 1300 today. They last saw her in Cabo San Lucas. The cruise is from Fort Lauderdale to Vancouver BC. US Coast Guard helicopters based out of Sacramento are doing the search.

I'll check the beach, if you do the same. If we all cross our fingers and hope really hard, I'm sure she will be found somewhere.

Not to be taken lightly. Make no mistake cruise ships are rife with problems that are never announced to the general public. Take a look at this site, its unbelieveable!

OMG! I have two friends on that ship. They are due back in Vancouver on Saturday. Don't these ships have a record of people leaving and coming back on board when they dock :?: If the records show that not all passengers are back would they not put up a flag of sort. Was she traveling with a husband or friend ?

Interesting site, going out on a limb a bit here, but I don't believe
the Ship personnel well paid, I don't think they hire
the highest of character

I guess it's better than stepping in front of a bullet-train.

Not a bad way to go, actually.

Spend your last few dollars on a luxurious cruise. Pig out at the buffet, have 12 too many at the bar, then jump.

Even better if you could put it on the credit card.

"The Coast Guard, who searched for approximately 25 hours over 1,900 miles, have stopped their search."

Why didn't the chowder heads on the the cruise ship think to check the Closed circuit footage before they alerted the Coast Guard?

For a bunch of angry iconoclasts, you guys are being very, well, can I call it sensitive about this story.

We all find a point where there is a pit of despair. I am just so sorry she lost all hope.

I can think about some Nomads I would offer to sponsor for the next cruise, if that was a certainty.
