It's time we should start hearing about some Dorado reports.

Dorado report! Plenty of 'em! Can be caught easily. The "silver hook" will snag 'em at the local supermarkets, sold under the name of Mahi Mahi.

Russ, I suspect you may unwittingly be the inspiration for the next story by Skeet.

Naturally, they are wall-to-wall SOMEWHERE in the S of C.

There have been some dinks caught over here before the last wind episode. And a single medium sized one after the winds. But no concentrations yet. Water dropped about 5-7 degrees during the last wind event here. But it has risen rapidly in the last 3 days.

Waiting for excuses for the lack of Dorado being caught? Too windy to get out and fish? Boat broke down? Doctors appointment? Fact!! They're getting hammered by the commercial fishermen, and sold to the highest bidder.

Listen... This season will be like it was before we all started theorizing why the fisheries are so depleted. There are going to be so many dorado that when you go out for a nice quiet day of trigerfishing you won't be able to get the bait through the dorado. Limits off the beach. The market will crash putting all the commercial pillagers out of work and their boats & nets will rot at the docks. End of the commercial fisherman!

I went out from Los Cerritos a couple of days ago, but only caught 1 dorado. It's been perfect boating weather for over a week, calm and hot, water's still a cool 70º but warming.

I'm hoping to hear from the fishermen in this area. I just listen to the few report passing around here. I haven't been out in a long time. Only surf fishing.

And sitting on your duff below the Mason-Dixon Line wont make you an expert on ANYTHING related to Baja.

Now, if we want a crawdad report, we'll know who to ask...........

Hook, Never claimed to be an expert on Baja or anyplace else. Don't need to drive over 2,000 miles, one way, to waste my time fishing in the Sea of Cortez. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Very thankfull that the fishing is great down home in the marsh country. By the way, there are no gill nets, purse seines, long lines, or hooka divers herding the fish into nets. The fishing is great and getting better.;D

Hook, The high water will spread the crawfish out over large areas, will make 'em hard to catch till the water drops.;D

Can you start writing SOC fishing reports, it's starting to get crowded down here.

Don't let the wet dog out of the burlap bag about the good areas though.

Cypress when the boys want a shellcraker report I,m sure they will ask for one :lol:when I use to ask you when you were fishing the SOC how you were doing you would b-tch about how all you were catching was triggers and I would ask what are you using for bait and you would reply was strip bait over rock piles:lol:
Rob

Anyone can catch fish in a boat but only \"El Pescador Grande\" can get them from the beach.

I hope when my time comes the old man will let me bring my rod and the water will be warm and clear.
