Good point. This land is clearly closer to La Paz than Todos. The only two good points that I can buy into is the price, and the fact that since the
highway has been expanded, the drive in either direction is short and easy.

Well first let me answer to those interested in the property
There is no water or power on these lots, however that can be done, some of the neighbors have power and water so that is something easy to
accomplish.
There is no drainage piping, in the middle of nowhere not exactly there are some family farms around, houses, weekend palapas, there is a restaurant
named chekos where you can get the best burritos I tried so far. Community of el carrizal is also near on a short drive about 5 minutes or less to the
entrance door. I said near todos santos it would take you about 16 minutes to get there I think la Paz is actually near. Is not that near, like
walking across the street. If you are not familiar with the zone I could send more pictures, frontage it could be to the highway or to some farms or
other lots. There are several lots for sale, they are ok to relax built a palapa or something and get away from everything.
On the view thing. Well yup, there is no view sorry not all lots have one. I have a property for sale in Todos Santos with a great view of the whole
town, not flat as a pancake and around the same price if you like to watch some pictures please contact me. I will post it soon.

I've spent a good deal of time in this area since local friends have lots there, The lots are large and have cactus. Many lots were drawn up for
Pacenos. The street lines and lot lines are drawn up but there is little infrastructure and the costs to bring electricity and water would be either
paid for by the first person or shared by a group, which is not very common. Infrastructure costs can be very high and therefore slow to implement.
The city is not going to pay for the infrastructure.
In any case, it is apparently quiet now and far from everything else, there are some people who have built rustic palapas and so forth. Many people
bought in and they have to pay their weekly principle and interest payment, so there are many people who now realize they are paying for something
that may never be developed and they do not have the money to pay for the infrastructure which never arrived, so they want out. So its a good time to
buy in cheap if you want in.

I can only guess what the poster referenced since there are few specifics, but if I had to guess I would say it's here, now if I'm right that makes me

How does it work when a foreigner, who has to go through the Fideicomiso process, buys land on time? Are there assurances that the seller will
properly relinquish title when the last payment is made, or is it a gamble?
Does anybody know how this works? I've often wondered.

First, you're not gonna get it until you own it, lock & stock.
Second, the developer has to meet his commitments for the frac regarding infrastructure development.

Goes without saying. They want the buyer to gamble, but wouldn't think of doing that themselves. Can't say as I blame them at all.
Soooo....what's left seems to be taking a ridiculous chance for the buyer what with everything that could go wrong. The only thing holding a deal like
this together is trust and hope and other crap like that. Doesn't look very safe or inviting...does it.

For a Mexican buyer it's not as much a gamble as they can get title. A foreigner can only hold the property in a Fideicomiso so even if the lot is
paid off and the developer doesn't perform or if it's an illegal frac they're never gonna get a trust.
