Grand Opening New Caribbean & Soul Food Restaurant Near La Mision

Caribbean and Soul Food Restaurant "BAJA SOL" at km 58 in Alisitos, close to La Mision, opens its doors on Saturday, June 4 at 9 am.

(For those not familiar with Alisitos or La Mision, this is very close to long-established Hotel and Restaurant La Fonda, Ensenada.)

Is that "Soul Food" or "Sol Food?" Would this be a good location for Soul Food?
You have to admire anybody's spirit of adventure opening a restaurant these days although, down here, this past weekend showed strong signs of improvment. Lots of California plates on the roads.

The only problem I see with the location is that there are alot of eateries already there. La Fonda, Poco Cielo, Rubens Lighthouse and La Mision are within walking distance of each other. This will round it out. The menu looks good, tho!

Their web site appears to still be under construction.

I'd be interested in reading a review or two from folks who actually ate their.
