I prefer to eat at Rally's Burger in your home town :-)
Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

Is it Just Me?
The layout of the page(s) is good, but the pictures are fuzzy.

Hey bajabound2005
I am very sorry to miss the lunch today, but my gorgeous, lovely daughter had some time off from her job and traveled down to Baja to visit us.
I am looking forward to the chance to meet up with all you lovely ladies!

Look ma. The only Mexicans in that Mexican restaurant Splash are the wait staff. I just can't wait to move to Baja so I can sit and eat and drink with
only older Americans, pay American menu prices and soak up that Mexican culture. Woowee. Kay honda, amigeaux?

It's only mid-afternoon and there is only one empty seat at the bar. These people really drink up that Mexican culture.

Hang on JR, I'm a coming, I'm a coming.

JennyJennyJenny........doncha think you're starting to push the envelope a bit? I enjoy your input here, but I think you're getting dangerously close
to that well-traveled road.

The pointlessness of his post is matched only by the tastelessness of invoking JR's name in connection with it.

Thanks to the 'Americans' (or whoever eats there) the 'Mexicans' have an income (owners, staff, food suppliers (incl. farmers and fishermen), utility
company, on and on).
Does jenny not like Mexicans earning money?

Well, Vince, it's nice to see you have rehabilitated JR, now that he is gone all these years. But when JR was alive, he would not have p*ssed on your
head if your hair was on fire. You represent all that he despised. And, I must say, it was so honest and open of you commenting here without first
telling anyone you are married to bajabound 2005. Someone might get the idea you were just posting your unbiased opinion.

A true american nomad board
is one that thrives on deceipt, gossip, insinuations and bullpuckey from a group of gringos who hang out in gringo enclaves.
I'd say this board has won the title by a long shot!!!
What this has to do with Baja is just another example of how and why Baja is turning into just another gringo parking lot for their drunken binges.
Check it out at any of the enclaves, gossip and drunkeness is the order for the day, just like the chicken coop group on here.

I don't know David. Were you happy with the apartheid system in South Africa? Them darkies got to have an income working for the geros. So what if
they lived in squalid slums in a caste-system society?
The issue, in case you cannot figure it out, is as JR said. The gringos want to be IN Mexico, but not be a part of Mexico, while all the while
professing how great Mexico is.
Ask Gypsy Jan or Krafty why they live in Mexico but run up to the US every week to do their grocery shopping, buy their clothes, see their doctors,
etc. Mexico is good enough to live in as long as they are behind a guard gate with a guard who will not let any old Mexico in. Then they rationlaize
it all by saying they dropped a few pesos in Mexico.

wow a blast from the past, JR. he and I had our disagreements but that's before I transformed. I get it now, JR was right. You're spirit lives JR!
everyone can see him and feel him, he's in the sunsets, he glows underwater under a dark moon, his blossoms add color every season and their odor is
intoxicating it goes right through us, its why we're here

Sorry, Jenny, You Are Way Offbase
At least when it comes to me. I can't speak for the others.
I haven't been NOB since last November, and that was to go with my husband to the hospital for a procedure.
Hey, I even drink Mexican tap water.

WoW... and I see two people I know.. in the second picture ...
The one lady with purple hair, and a couple of the guys...
I didn't get out all that much... but, enough to meet some folks once or twice...
Used "hang" at Cantilles ... until it changed ownership last year....
A nice guy "Isiaha" who was building up his business and doing really well .... and then had to move out...
And had never been inside "Splash" that first picture ... looked like Denny's... without the ocean....
