Gonzaga Bay LOST BOAT !!!!!!!


I'm postin this for somebody else thats not on BN.
I dont have a good description of the boat ....but...

It was at anchor in the bay,wind/tide got it !

All their gear was on board !

I searched the bay the next day,no luck !

Keep an "eye n ear out for him

Hope they find it... look way far south (or whatever direction the wind was blowing).

We were camping with Mike Humfreville's family at Raquel & Larry's in 2003 when his boat was blown free of the anchorage, at night. We drove along the coast but failed to find it. A town fisherman found it way south by Rincon or Puerto Don Juan... and towed it back to his home in town.

we were so lucky, once les's boat got off anchor too but thankfully the tide was coming in !! now it sits OUT of the water when it is not in action.....

You read a current chart to see where the water flows? I would check for sure......over behind Snoopy Rock ( past Punta Final a bit).




Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.
