SCORE's Next Race in Baja

The SCORE web site says their next race will be in Baja Mexico Sept 9-11. Rumor has it that Sal would like to do it out of Mexicali but the start is a problem. I guess he doesn't want a parade to Laguna Salada like NORRA did. I also guess the Las Vegas folks or more likely the government did not cooperate in putting on a Primm race. Maybe more fallout from the MDR race accident.

The Mexicali 250 of the late 1970's (which was the Hotel Lucerna 250 before SCORE) turned into the San Felipe 250... Sept. is still really hot for a race there, don't you think? The Pacific side would be nicer... Too bad El Rosario doesn't have more hotels... what an area for a loop race (north and south out of El Rosario)! Maybe a San Quintin 250?

It will be 4 wheelers only with a 7am start. Same course as the SF250 race. I think I'll skip this one and head north.
