Back from Punta Sanfrancisquito
Hi all, new here - and first post, have been lurking here for some time.
Just returned from from Punta Sanfrancisquito. Drove from LA via 1, Guerro Negro route. The drive was rather hellacious, especially with two
motorcycles loaded in the bed for a good portion of the trip.
Had a great time, treated well, fed well, good fishing, beautiful beach.

We have always loved camping on the beach there with the remnants of the palapas destroyed years ago in a hurricane! We usually go down from Bahia de
Los Angeles and out to Guerrero Negro, with Cuesta de la Ley seemingly getting worse each year! Will be down there in October catching those fish!

Awesome photos! Looks like you had a great time.
I ran a pit near there for the NORRA race this past May but unfortunately did not get to see the cave paintings. Cuesta de la Ley was brutal as we
were pulling a trailer loaded with gear.

"Cuesta de la Ley"; we did not know a thing about this part of the road and of course it so happened that we came upon it in the middle of the night.
We couldn't really see so we just carefully came down. There was a fish truck, exploded and in piece at the bottom of the hill and an abandoned car.
We didn't realize just how dangerous that stretch was until we did it again but in daylight. I suppose ignorance is bliss

.... and this is the "tame" version of Cuest de la Ley. They rerouted the old "bad" section several years ago. You can still see it on your left as
you're climbing and near the top.

Anyone can catch fish in a boat but only \"El Pescador Grande\" can get them from the beach.
I hope when my time comes the old man will let me bring my rod and the water will be warm and clear.

Welcome to Nomads Nice pictures. Thanks. I noticed that you have the picture of the yellowtail titled "Tuna Sushi grade". Yellowtail is a Jack and
not a Tuna. Yellowfin is a Tuna. What you got there are Yellowtail and are vary good for sushi.
