July flowers in my garden

please share more of your flowers/plants too !!

I'd like to know the name of this one, it is sold all over Baja ?

Now, PROBLEM !!!!! yesterday the hares ate some of the plants in my garden - does anyone have a natural solution for avoiding this ??? I am livid at them .... Les is going to build a picket fence around the garden but that does not happen overnight and I love my plants ... I did put chicken wire around some of them but maybe someone has a good solution ??????????????

any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Blanca.... Some folks spray their plants with a mixture of water and hot sauce. Doesn't seem to hurt the plant, but most bugs and critters are put off by the taste. Might help with the hares and is cheap and easy to try.

You've got some beautiful plants for sure!

Beautiful! I love yellow roses, they were my Dad's favorites, can't see one and not think of him.
Also, the red one is rich, almost as good as eating chocolate. Thanks for the visual treat.

Looks like both (the flower will come first but is attached to the immature fruit). I've got one of those plants---some kind of Epiphyllum that I've never figured out---but mines never flowered, so looking forward to yours!

Mexitron .. thanks ... I think the plant is QUEEN OF THE NIGHT or epiphyllum anguliger ... since itis native to Mexico and I got this one in San Ignacio. I guess we can see better when it flowers. this will be the first time, I think I have had the plant for 4 years now.

Beautiful garden, Blanca! Sorry about the bunnies. :( I know there is a commercial product to deter them, like Liquid Fence for deer.

Did you ever get in touch with Theresa at the East Cape RV Park in Las Barriles? As you remember our conversation, she has each space surrounded by exotic plants and she has ID'd them with plaques.

Woody is correct.... rubber tree. And, planted outside they can become enormous and have lots and lots of huge roots.

Rabbits will jump over chicken wire. They can hop really high to get to whatever they want to eat.

I'd mix some ground chili pepper with water and spray it all over the place.
