US warns of bombs at Mexico border crossings ***

EL PASO, Texas — Following the recent arrests of drug cartel suspects, the United States on Friday warned Americans traveling to or from Chihuahua, Mexico, that U.S. border crossings and the local consulate could become the targets of attacks.

"Information has come to light that suggests a cartel may be targeting the U.S. Consulate in Ciudad Juarez or U.S. Ports of Entry," the consulate said in a statement Friday. "In the past, cartels have been willing to utilize car bombs in attacks. We ask American citizens to remain vigilant."

New spelling for Cd. Juarez = Baghdad

Which reminds me....I haven't heard squat from the Baja Image Committee lately. Maybe it went the way of most committees here; after the free lunch, they die a natural death.

WHO are THEY ?

Gnu knows.

Gnu has an encyclopedic knowledge of ALL World Conspiracies (past, present and future) including WHO is involved for WHAT purpose. Check with him for details, BUT before doing so, be aware that at some point International World Bankers are involved. They are the one constant in ALL World Conspiracies.

Buena Suerte.

From the article: Following the recent arrests of drug cartel suspects, the United States on Friday warned Americans traveling to or from Chihuahua, Mexico, that U.S. border crossings and the local consulate could become the targets of attacks.
_____________________

So a few cartel drug suspects are arrested, and now the 'consulate or other US officials think they could become targets, or US ports of entry could become targets?

Where is the threat from the drug cartels to the US Consulate or the US Ports of Entry? Where is the history of the Mexican drug cartels targeting innocent US citizens or the US Consulate?

Yet out of nowhere they issue a warning when they haven't even said they received a death threat.

Why don't they also warn of possible attacks by space aliens? I guess that could happen too.

It sounds to me that a Consulate official is really scared, and wants everybody to be scared too?

Rick Perry that crackpot, and others in Texas has been issuing these type of warnings for some time, and claiming citizens of Texas are at risk inside Texas, and there was even been talk of going into Mexico and fighting the Mexican drug cartels with the Texas Rangers and Chuck Norris types!

Oh another thing......what happens over the Texas border at El Paso and Cd. Juarez has nothing to do with Baja.

The alarmist often like to post violence type stories that happen in other parts of Mexico in order to scare Americans wanting to visit the San Diego/ Tijuana/Baja area. I could care less what's going on over in Juarez, because I don't plan on visiting there any time soon.

Think they® are trying to cut down the "volume" of traffic ... hence manpower requirements.. much cheaper than spending more on "programs" and "manpower"... just saying...

The U.S. will trump up an excuse for WAR anywhere and everywhere they think we can get stuck in a quagmire. That is the longterm economic plan! It will continue to support the WAR industries. It will cull the overpopulation problem, too.

It will make the lower 99% of our population indentured slaves. This is now happening before our eyes, much faster than we had imagined. If you can't see it, and continue to support this with your votes and swallow the Murdoch media disinformation cool aid, you are asleep and will be totally unable to cope. It is all coming down now, as we speak.

That is not to say that the cartels are not murderous scum. They are! But we have fed the beast. We will never stop the users but we can decriminalize drugs and stop the push back. Violence begets violence. The threat or fear of violence does the same. Our culture does not have the mentality to comprehend this and we plunge dead-on ahead-until The End...

That would be easy just quit their harassment program and allow the traffic to flow at a normal pace through the border

Dunno. I guess a poor excuse is better than none at all.
