Couldn't find any pics of the Desert Iguana in breeding colors but from the descriptions I read these are our common Desert Iguanas.

Zebra tailed lizards - common near the water in Baja- black stripes under their tails that they wag scorpion style over their backs while they run to
detract predators from the body. They have large scales on their feet to run extremely fast (30mph?) across loose sand. They also will run "Jesus"
style across shallow water to grab insects that have fallen into the water and return to shore without getting wet! Very common around my house in
Bahia - great pictures!!!
