Anyone In El Pescadero Using BANDA ANCHA?

Is the transmission quality good enough to allow SKYPE?

Where is the nearest office of Customer Service for TelCel that one may sign up?

Please reply to my email if you could:

it's a digital service, so the packets get there or they don't. the only concern is bandwidth and latency.

I use Telcel Banda Ancha and I live in Todos Santos - can't use Skype. The video part won't work and the sound quality is terrible. I used MagicTalk until I got a MagicJack - no video on those, but all the calls to the US are "Free" (you pay a year at a time) and the quality is perfect. I do get "roaming" as in coming and going telcel connection - that could be because of where I am in relation to the tower. Pescadero will be the same depending on your tower/location.

You can get your Banda Ancha in Todos Santos. La Paz is the main distribution/customer service place.
Hope this helps.
