It's not Baja but...............

Leaving tomorrow for SoCal to take my family to Disneyland[. I have Monday planned as a day fishing out of Mission Bay with my 2 boys, age 7 and 9. They have a little experience fishing for trout

and once in LA Harbor that they don't really remember. I had hoped that we may be able to go in Mexican waters and chase the bluefin tuna but it sounds like the Japaneese seiners have taken care of that for us. Instead we are going to stay inshore and hopefully get to some yellowtail. Still should be a great day with the boys and AJ's test to see if he is ready to make the next Baja road trip:spingrin:

I moved to CO and they made me buy a little rod to make it feel like a real fish

The bluefin are pretty much in the socal waters now - as close as 15 miles from San Diego with small schools of 30 to 50 lb fish spread out over many of the high spots - some private boaters are seeing a lot of fish and scoring a few here & there.
We are headed out on Sunday evening on my buddies Blackman to look for the yellowfin that are showing up 60 to 80 miles south.
