Surfdoc's maiden voyage of the MOJAC!!!


Well, it took awhile but Surfdoc FINALLY got his pangita tricked out and in the water. Our amigo Miguelitro is here visiting and it's his birthday today so the boys decided to spend the day fishing....lets hope they get something for dinner....ho hummm....another fiesta this afternoon!!!

latest report is they got some cabrillas in the lanchita and the cooler is near empty so they'll be trying for some halibut off the beach and back in for Mike's birday fiesta!!!

Gracias..... was nice to be back on the pond. The launch was "interesting" must remember to but a latch on the oarlocks..LOL

2 Cabrilla, 1 Vieja... VERY dark red thighs.. Note to self, bring sunscreen for upper thighs and a towel..:(

Burned about a gallon fishing all day around the island, gotta love the 15 h/p 4 stroke.

cant wait to have some sashimi....yesterday our amigo Fidel caught 6 nice yellowtail up by san pablo so they are arriving now that the water warmed up to 70 degrees the last few days....looks like we may even get some tuna this season...yahoo.
