tecate hotel?
Just wondering about hotels in Tecate. Perhaps someone could point out a reasonably priced hotel for a week long visit.

I can't remember names, but after you drive through the gate, go a couple of blocks straight ahead to Juarez and turn right. Go up about a mile and
you'll see a few nice looking places. That's the good news.
I wanted to check into one of them, spartan looking with no pool even, on a north-bound trip a few years back and the price knocked the wind out of
me. I went on to Chula Vista.
I hope things have changed for you.

Amigo, I remember a camping Resort , Country/Caballero style, with Cabins and Oak trees pictured on a thread. Wait for the SD/Tecate Boyz to kick
in. It looked nice ! Suerte. Tio

There a bunch of Camping resorts outside of town. Popular with the ATV, motorcycle crowds. Here is one, Hacienda Santa Veronica,

I have not stayed here though.

Santa Veronica is out of town 15 miles of highway and 7 miles of dirt. If you want to be out of town you can rent cabins at Rancho Ojai, which is a
combo RV park with nice small cabins. Right on the highway about 10 miles east of town. On the Ensenada highway south of town, just after you cross
under the toll road there is a nice hotel, I think it is Rosita's (?) nice rooms, safe parking, restaurant so-so.

We had a comfortable stay at Motel La Hacienda, 861 B. Juarez, about 10 blocks west of the road into Tecate on the north side. The price range was
350-450p. Tel: 665-654-250 Large interior parking area, very good restaurant about three blocks further on the south side of B Juarez.

Rancho La Puerta is a world class hotel and spa, that has actually been hurt by the border violence.
We stayed there a few years ago. Amazing.
That said, and forgive me. But why would one want to spend an entire week in Tecate?
