New B & B in Bahia Asuncion
OMG ... These are the first photos I've seen of my good friends B & B.
I am totally impressed. I had no idea that it would be such a classy place. Jean & Ed are full timers down here. Jean is a Mexican citizen and is
fluent in Spanish and Ed is learning very quickly and has no problems communicating with the locals. I'll go on about them later but I wanted to be
the first to show their place.
Upper two units under construction.
Front from beach side
Street side view
Ocean view
Patio between units
I'll post more pics as I receive them. They're without inter at the moment. They're making the finishing touches on the place now so I'm pretty sure
they'll have a wireless system in the near future and you might just get a discount until they've completed the project. I'll let them tell you what
they have to offer for a very reasonable rate.
Call Jean or Ed for bookings: 615-104-3524 or from the United States, 011 521 615-104-3524

Do they have a boat ramp? (just kidding)
Looks like a quality (and very quiet which I like) place to stay.

the stacked things are pismo shells with holes in them that were used to stamp out game pieces for the game "Goh" ..there is a small industry here for
that...pretty cool and unique idea eh.

Thanks Shari,
Goh pieces. That is very interesting. I thought they might be Pismo shells but could not understand someone putting holes in them for a fence. How
cool to have the shells be so utilized!

Prices for the B & B
This new place is beautiful---lots of attention to detail. For instance, the picture of the first bathroom is one that is off the common patio so
that when outside one does not have to go through the unit to use the bathroom or if the bathroom in the unit is occupied, there will be another
bathroom available. The sofa bed is a comfortable one.
Since they do not get into town everyday for internet, they said to go ahead and post the prices.
The front unit with the beautiful ocean view is $75.00 a night for two people----of course breakfast in included.
The street side unit with the private patio is $65.00 a night for two people--breakfast included. The private patio is also a place one can safely
leave their dog when they are out and about. Yes, they are pet friendly to friendly pets.
Ed and Jean are really great people and we are very much enjoying having them as neighbors. The plan right now is to be open from July through the
end of November. We wish them the best of luck with this new venture.

Place looks beautiful. That July through November thingy seems to ignore the whale season. Strange, since that time brings the most tourists down to
GN through San Ignacio.

They also have a nice home here in Chivato and I suspect that they would like the warmer winter weather. Also they have a lot of friends here that are
winter folk. And it would give them some time to play in their studios and make stuff. Jean also takes a group of mostly ladies over to Mexico on a
tour she's run for years. Another one of her many hats.

Wow! The place is beyond anything I was expecting. I new it would be very nice but this is stunning. When I spoke to Ed he said that this was their
summer place away from Chivato.

Jean and Ed have been our dear friends, guardian angels and neighbors in Punta Chivato for nearly five years now. Wonderful, gracious, warm folks -
involved in their communities and class acts all the way. They've built a beautiful place there in B.A and we wish them all the best in this venture.
