Kayak tony lands nice White Sea Bass near Asuncion

tony the kayak fisher is sporting an even bigger smile today when he came over to give away some fish. This morning he caught a 37 pound white seabass on his kayak on a rappala and had a real fight on his hands as it went down into the rocks...but tony was victorious and we are cookin it up as I type!

He also got 2 yellowtail and a couple of humbolt squid which went in the back of our builders pickup!

He shared a harrowing tale of getting run over by a coop fishing boat a couple days ago...luckily he was able to quickly peddle away so it just clipped the back and threw him into the water...he was lucky. What REALLY pi$$es me off is that while they slowed down a bit and looked, the net boat panga didnt even go back to see if he was OK...sucks.

So word of caution kayakers...good idea to have a tall flag or something on your kayak when in fishing areas.
