Ron Hoff/Bajagringo attacked

Hi Nomads,

In a bit of shock here, I just learned from a good friend of Rons , that yesterday he was attacked by a group of burglars near his home in San Quintin. Apparently he saw a group of people near a neigbors house which was unoccupied. When he went to investigate he was attacked by up to 7 guys, when his Wife Christina went to investigate they cut her throat. Luckily another neigbor saw this and called the police, apparently they caught these pieces of chit, but now both Ron and his Wife are in critical condition at a hospital in Ensenada (sorry I don't know which). His daughter has been notified. Could someone in Ensenada please try to find out which hospital? Lets all keep our fingers crossed that both pull through! He has an indominable spirit which I hope will serve him well in this horrible crisis!

PULL THROUGH RON AND CHRISTINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible news. Ron is one of the nicest, most gracious, considerate, and intelligent people I have met on the Board. I hope he and Christina have a complete recovery.

If there is anyone that could determine where they are at, that would be great. Thank you ahead of time if you are able to spend any time with this.

Oh no! Ron is one of the good guys. This is so shocking.

Please, may you and Christina recover well. Your recovery is of utmost importance to us Nomads.

The rest of the story, circumstances, etc., have to take a back seat. We need to concentrate, en mass, for their survival. We are with you, Ron and Christina! Prayers, positive thoughts, optimism all work.

First post, Ron Hoff. I don't know if Christina uses Hoff or not.

I don't know these people but what a horrible thing. Just horrible.

I've got an e-mail in to some Mexican freinds who are in TJ right now to try and call around to the hospitals
