Azabache Pata Blanca

If you visited the post Angelita Prieta, this is her ¨brother¨ Azabache . . . from the ranch I still have images to share.

A few images of Baja Ranch Pastime, where the Criollos came from . . . stealing honey

Stairway to the bees

Cow dung for smoke

Robing the hive

American by birth, Mexican by choice.

Signature addendum: Danish physicist — Niels Bohr — who said, “The opposite of one profound truth may very well be another profound truth.

Those are some black beauties, bro' & sis, Black Little Angel and Black Jet.

Reminds me of my gorgeous little Siamese kittens, Balin y Balina, near-identical brother and sister.

Great photo of the Bee Charmer!

me too...love your posts....once Juan took me on a bee hunting desert walk to look for hives...really cool...found one, made that same smoke fire...juan took a smoking cactus arm to lull the bees into dreamland...then got the comb out and put it in a bucket...with no protection...no stings either...he did wear a long sleeve shirt and a ball cap though!
