Hotel in Tijuana?


Visiting a friend in Del Mar Ca and want to go down to Tijuana for one night, any suggestions on a good/safe place to stay? Thanks

A good friend of mine just stayed at the Hotel Ticuan and thought it was fantastic; he felt totally safe and couldn't believe the great price. Their website is www.hotelticuan.com where you can see pics, get rates, etc.

I think FDT works at Castillos Del Mar in Rosarito, Dennis.
It's a cute beachfront motel. Have stayed there several times. It is located about 1/4 mile south of the Rosarito Beach hotel.

Yes, it's 3 hotels that I'm at right now, 1 in Tijuana and 2 in Rosarito.

Why would you want to spend the night in TJ, what a pit, stay in Del Mar and go for the day that will be enough. Park in downtown SD and take the trolly to the border and walk across.
