That's just great.

Now that the crack local police got their feet wet arresting some kids playing Halloween pranks, maybe they can keep up the momentum by arresting some of the bandidos stealing the local populace blind.

Hey, it's a start......

This past week the State Police have been here in Loreto training the local Municipal Police Force. They were seen at several places around town doing exercises, stopping traffic, and interviewing folks.
And that's a good thing.

It seemed to me like Halloween was a bit rowdier than usual around here.
So it looks like the local cops stepped up and stopped the egging and graffiti....and called the parents of the kids involved.

It's about time, IMHO. I talked Officers in several police patrol trucks that drove down my street to say hello and introduce myself.

I like seeing them around, at least they have some gas money and new trucks now.

see, I think these kids are getting it all wrong

we had the very first ever trick or treaters come to the door and after I gave them some candy, they asked for eggs

when I asked why - they said it was to play pranks on other houses....I never heard of anyone doing this NOB .... throwing eggs at houses ??? nahhhhhhhhhhhhh so these kids are picking up on the wrong message

obviously I did not give out raw eggs, but I was kinda surprised to even be asked.

next year I told them they had to be dressed up in costume to get candy (these weren't) and a littl while later a group came that had at least painted their faces hahaha I can post some pics later.
