Isla Cerralvo report?

I am heading down to La Ventana from Loreto tomorrow to try to murder some tuna. Anyone fish that area the last day or two? How is the wind?

There seems to be a lot more options on where to stay (I prefer not to stay in La Paz) in the La Ventana area then my last visit 10 years ago. I used to stay at Baja Joes and was happy but who can make some other suggestions on where to stay and/or who to fish with?

Leaving Loreto early saturday A.M.,

By the way, if the East Cape has finally broken open, we can pass on La Ventana and head to Las Barillas (sorry David. is that how you spell it?)

Anyone, anyone?

Just got back from Muertos to check the fish counts of the pangas coming in. Arrived to find that only one panga had gone out today. They didn't do too great. They said they had a fair shot at the tuna but lost them all to seals. Ended up with one nice sized pargo mulatto and a sierra. The weather has been beautiful with very light winds and the temps have dropped about 10 degrees from a week or two ago. Sorry I don't have more to report.

Obviously the fish are still out there but with the lack of anglers I think the seals can zero in on the one boat trying for them
