Tecate to Santa Maria (San Quintin)

400(+or-) miles from Tucson to Tecate. Uckkkk

Only car crossing Tecate at 10:30

Good thing about the rain. they were grading the construction area south of Ensenada

Then in Colonet this guy was traveling in style. If you were driving too fast you would miss it

And then I decided it was time to stop and make an early night of it at Hotel Mission Santa Maria. From the Balcany

[img][/img]

and you always have to have a pic of the beds.

[img][/img]

and I wouldn't be a Nomad without the bathroom

Enough.I am not putting my mug in front of the Camera and saying look at how happy I am!

OHHHH chiit FORGOT THE GPS COORDINATES.

Even though the Hotel has a great restaurant, I went down to the renovated Old Mill. Had a plate with crab enchiladas and crab rellenos. That was after the wonderful green tomato salad. whoooeeee. I am stuffed.

Oh, that sounds great! We really like the Hotel Mission Santa Maria. But we have not eaten at the Old Mill for years----did not care much for one of the owners. Now we will need to try it again. Thanks

Woody, it is the old La Pinta in San Quintin-----

Now, I want that car you saw in Colonet and I want to see photos of your truck at the hotel!

How's that go again, La Pinta, the Santa Maria and the ..........???

Great pics rts551. Thanks. I really like that hotel too. Many memories from there in the last 15 years or so......
In fact that pic from the balcony looks somewhat too familure.

Maybe I'll head down that way for Thanksgiving weekend.

Don\'t mess with the old dog...... Age and skill will always overcome youth and treachery! Brilliance only comes with age and experience..... :smug: .... :P .... :smug:
Are you getting the most out of life OR is life getting the most out of you ?? :?:

Twenty years from now you\'ll be more disappointed by the things you didn\'t do then the things you did.

We had several meals at the Old Mill last winter. Each of them was beyond expectations. The green tomato was delicious! Thanks for reminding me.
