B.A. House, turn-key includes X-Lot, VW Bug

My husband and I have decided to do some cruising in the Sea of Cortez, so we are selling our 2 bedroom, 2 bath Ocean View house in Bahia Asuncion. Price includes a completely turn key house, an extra lot out front, a VW Baja Bug, Kayaks and more. This is an owned (bank trust), not leased property. Asking $144,500.

Thanks Capt. Mike,
We love spending time there and really do hate to sell the place, wish we could do everything, but just can't fit it all in.

The interior is very well thought-out and executed. Nice job.

Spent three months in that house. The view never gets old. Spacious beach out front. Whales just beyond the kelp. Dolphins and sea lions in the break. Bonita hitting the top. Local kids short-boarding the reef. Islands at nine and three o'clock. Set in a working town that really rocks.

All the best for the sale.

I like the little Wrought Iron Left Bank table and chairs in the corner. Brings back memories of me and my days swilling absinthe and eating Baguettes on the Seine with Toulouse-Lautrec while he painted memories of Montparnasse .
Yep....sure does.

I concentrated on my Kazoo skills while there. Drums came later. BADABOOM.

That home was built with me in mind I'm almost sure of it. If I could I would. If I could sell my lot here I'd be there.

having been to both their properties - Mulege and Asuncion....
they do EVERYTHING 1st class.

wish i could take either, but Mulege compound would be the cake.

I admit to having very little knowledge of Baja real estate, and this really looks like a sweet property.

But given our particular times, first thought in my troubled mind was the asking price seemed unrealistically high, given the somewhat remote location.

But, what do I know?

Cement and materials are very expensive, even in Baja. The lots in Bahia Asuncion have been going up not down. Where else are you going to own a newer home with two ocean view lots, water and electricity in a beautiful little Mexican pueblo for the price that we are asking. They just recently paved the road to get there so it really isn't that remote anymore. We are not looking to make any great profit one this sale, we are just wanting to move on to a new adventure. Oh, by the way, we are open to offers.

A similar property in Chivato would be double that.

I truly hope Lauriboats success in achieving her goal. I consider the fact that she is open to offers to be a key to that success.

As for Russ' post, I'm thinking that Punta Chivato is way less remote than is Asuncion. After all, it's not all that far from Santa Rosalia and the ferry. And not that far from the airport in Loreto.

After reading Shari's post, I'm reminded of the old axiom about not being the highest priced property in the community.

Buena suerte.

It's a beautiful house next to wonderful neighbors in an amazing little town. It's closer to the border than Chivato and has many small town amenities that Chivato does not.

Merry Christmas !

Although I could only dream of getting something this nice right now, I have to ask: Is the extra lot the area in front of your house? If so, will there be a road between your house and the lots in front, or is the lot to the left of your house?

The extra lot is in the front of the house adacent to our lot. We bought the lot to insure that no-one would build in front of us. I have often thought of building a walk-way and sitting area on the lot to allow for closer sea life viewing.
