"El Chapo" has visited San Quintin (2 hrs. south of Ensenada) three times...

It is interesting El Chapo would pay personal visits to Ensenada using a clandestine airstrip. He escaped from prison in a linen truck five years ago, is a $Billionaire many times over from dominating the world drug trade (with Mexico as his base) and no one can seem to find him to put him back in jail. What is he doing here that is so important? We know his people took over Baja last year, but he did this personally?

Ensenada .- The leader of the Sinaloa cartel, Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Loera, was in Ensenada at least three times recently, arrived on a private plane landed on a runway made amid the arid soil of San Quentin, was the progress of the mega fields and left without anyone to disturb him, as can be read on the testimonials made by at least 10 of the 58 farmers held in the greenhouse discovered by the Mexican Army on 12 July in the town of San Augustine, located south of the municipality of Ensenada.

Within the criminal touches 667/2011 and 396/2011 derived from criminal proceedings, consisting of 2 000 428 folio, divided into five volumes, it appears that perhaps could have been the nearest time the Mexican Army had captured on land Baja California's most wanted man in the world, at least 10 farmers claim to have seen land the plane in which he was riding Guzman Loera, who was accompanied by three men once more and says one of the respondents, was accompanied to "a woman of good body."

"He made a special palapa to the 'heavy' so that when they came to the greenhouse to see who was growing marijuana is not sunbathing, I saw him once just 20 meters sideways, because the statement was very clear: down the plane when we had to flip to see the people who descended, we all volteábamos, but this time I saw him, I knew immediately that it was 'El Chapo', but he looked thinner and younger, "he says in his statement One detainee, who claims he was hired in his native Sinaloa, after the frosts kill all seed.

At first, says the detainee, offered to pay us a thousand dollars a week to come to Baja California to harvest grapes. I was in my house and until there came a person to give me work, which I immediately agreed, I said we would come out of Guamuchil and it was. We came in a white bus and after 30 hours we arrived at San Vicente, where a pick up type Lobo manned by someone identified as "Jovito" took us to the mega plantation.

We arrived at night, told in his statement one of the peasants, they said they will rest for the next day would begin Chamba. "I never imagined what I saw acres and acres of marijuana, and the desert side, immediately told us that the job would be cleaning the grooves where the drug was and that we would pay a thousand pesos a week and when they would reap no other 10 000 dollars-money that they never saw, even thousand dollars. Before planting lead to mega told us that we gave them the exact addresses of our families and they would send them money, so when we were in the desert, picking 'pot', we had no choice but to follow, "said one of the 58 detainees, who we reserve its name.

MEGA GAVE ORDERS HOODED GREENHOUSE

Another detainee said that when day broke they saw that it was marijuana and frightened look, he immediately saw that the three heads, identified as "El Ruco", "The Black" and "Jovito" were armed with high powered rifles (at least the first two) and balaclavas. "They told us that wanted to go I could do, but we remembered that they had our address and kill our families, so all ceased, in addition to where we would if we knew where we were and said that was the nearest town very far, "he said.

The first time I got "El Chapo" Guzman, the town of San Augustine was already late, the sun was falling, an account in his statement of the detainees, he heard the plane pass very near the greenhouse, which barely was building and immediately got off the plane three people told us that one of them was "heavy", the "Chaco", "El Chapo". The others were his closest staff.

At the meeting, you can read in settled claims in the same file, which El Mexicano has a copy, got ready in charge of planting, whom everyone called "The 21" and went to greet him after the palapa. "Who all knew it was El Chapo gave some instructions to 'The 21' and left before nightfall, did not last on the ground or 20 minutes after takeoff the aircraft was lost on the horizon" that afternoon in late March.

The mega plantation workers came under false pretenses, they all offered a thousand pesos a week and a chance to win up to 2 000 if they were moved. Many of the detainees said in their statements that in Sinaloa earned 50 pesos by the day, but all are characterized have been unemployed before coming to Baja California, as the cold devastated the crops.

The second time was "El Chapo" Guzman in the fields, say the now imprisoned in El Hongo, marijuana and was about a meter high. Drug trafficker walked through the greenhouse, but the laborers were not allowed near them, or even see them. The heads of planting or who gave them orders and they were always hooded insisted they did not see the pattern.

In all cases the escapee "Puente Grande" during the administration of former President Vicente Fox and sought worldwide by Interpol reached 120 ha mega greenhouse too early or getting dark, never lasted more than three hours and provided he was accompanied by two other people, which could not describe physically detained.

The same held for drug trafficking in their manner of planting can not say what was the last time they saw the head of the Sinaloa Cartel, as well as such three times continued listening plane, so the Army questioned the detainees before shift to the federal agency if a plane were mega drug transporting gases, which could not confirm nor deny the laborers in any of the statements, this despite the fact that after stopping at a checkpoint in El Rosario piles were incommunicado overnight.

Ensure that the military laborers never hit, but the piles had all the previous night under interrogation before being sent separately to the federal agency. "We asked the 'guachos' much about El Chapo, if we had seen it all, some said no and others who only heard the plane land, others accept that if we saw him," they argue.

Leaders sown field guarding the Mexican army failed to stop anyone, not even "The Jovito" who was in the greenhouse the afternoon of 12 July when military personnel belonging to Reaction Force "Mobile Vite" integrated by 30 soldiers, burst through the dirt road leading to the ranch of the greenhouse.

When the laborers heard on the radio that the army was on its way to the plantation, "The Jovito 'Wolf mounted his white, the United States plates and fled as fast they could not even see the military, while about 80 workers, mostly from Sinaloa, there were on the run. Some ran to a nearby hill and others began to run among the desert, the arid zone. The army arrived at 7 pm and the workers hid in the nearby hills, the military surrounded the area waiting for reinforcements, because they were only about 30 and about 80 workers, the latter began to walk toward San Vicente.

ARREST ON FARMERS

By late afternoon of July 12 this year, the group called "Mobile Vite", consisting of 30 elements of the Mexican Army troops, in making overland travel at kilometer 141 +500 Transpeninsular road, section San Quentin -Cataviņa, about 5 miles north of the town of San Augustine, found shade netting covered with a plantation of marijuana (in central coordinated PD-930 156) with an area of approximately one million 200 thousand square meters and a density of 12 plants per square meter with an average height of one meter.

In fact the next day, July 13 at about 12:00 hours, the military elements found hidden in a greenhouse at two people, which were identified as Salazar Armenta and 15 minutes after Lopez Gastelum, who to be corralled declared that they had just escaped another 60 or 70 people, which were heading south aboard a white pickup truck and a closed box, even got some names, so that the army intensified its filters immediately review .

As night fell the first. A group of peasants was able to arrive walking to the federal highway and that its members took a passenger bus bound for Tijuana, not to mention that by then their names were already part of a list of wanted persons, so at the checkpoint were found and handcuffed 14 of the farmers who already felt free, without a single weight after a month of work and other labor four months of deceit and death threats.

The detainees were locked in an office at the checkpoint, they were forced to kneel, hours later a truck driven by Theophilus Santiesteban and chaperone were Francisco Tarin Trasviņa and Andrew Camacho Lopez, while in the trailer carrying about 39 people more.

They said, finding himself surrounded, who came from cutting onions, but never had the Mexican Army had a "Molecular Detector" GT200, which detects marijuana residue on cars or people, so the scanner passed through his hands all indicated that they had contact with marijuana.

So far the Sinaloa farmers are still waiting to be sentenced, because the Third Court Judge Fifteenth Unitary Circuit affirmed the statement of the Tenth District Judge, in the sense that there were elements to dictate the order of imprisonment against the likely health crime in their mode of planting and cultivation of the drug known as marijuana, under the third paragraph of Article 198 in relation to the first paragraph and penalized in Article 194, both the Federal Penal Code, in addition Article 234 of the General Law of Health.

Perhaps he's looking to launder money with tomatoes.

Have to admit that when I spied the title of the thread, I immediately conjured up visions of him strolling down Lopez Mateos.

San Quintin is a good couple of hours South of the City of Ensenada. In fact, although many folks think pf the port city with the big flag, the Municipo de Ensenada encompasses a huge portion of BC.
