Dolphin Encounter

We took this video New Years Eve Day. There were hundreds of Dolphin around us and they were chasing the bait to the surface. This is 25 miles South of San Felipe and about two miles off shore.

Just a thought for the next encounter.

Nice to be able to experience something you have never seen...but why not sit back and watch Mother Nature instead of driving you boat through the bait ball which disturbed the dolphins and the birds. They were doing what is natural to them, trying to eat.

In scuba diving we say..."take pictures, leave only bubbles". In other words let animals do what is they are suppose to do.

Maybe next time David, we hit the road about Noon for North so we probably passed one another at some point...

Thank you for the video. I was with the kayakers that were getting ready to go out when you came and told us about the dolphins. My wife and her brother and two others went to where you sent them and were surrounded by the dolphins and also saw two fin whales in the same area

thanks again

You are very welcome! We just knew we had to tell someone!

We are just up from you at Playa Hermosa next door to the boulders on the beach. Chuck and Chris Cherry.
