Vehicle Sticker Needed for Baja Cars?

There has been talk in our community about a Jan 1 rule that would require any vehicle left in Baja to have some sort of sticker on the USA plate. No one has any documentation other than rumors. Sounds like fiction to me, we only have 4 vehicles in Baja Sur. This would follow the old "business in getting slow, better raise prices" rule that we see so much! They did of course add an insurance rule and that was OK. Any factual information on this rumor?

Laughable. There are so many US plates around here driven by locals that....well...it can't happen.
