Shipping port at COLONET.....


Lots of talk a few years back about building a large port there. Rail connections, big highways for trucks, homes for workers , shady real estate deals by politicians and rich investors.

Haven't heard anything in quite some time. Got news?

The widening of the Panama Canal has taken the luster off pac side expansion in the cargo/container/shipping world. No longer will the largest container ships have to off load on the left coast of North America. The "new" canal will hadle double the current capacity.
