This bird is so beautiful.


This is a Belding's Yellowthroat. If you see this bird, it may be the last time anyone ever sees it. It's related to the Common Yellowthroat, this bird ONLY lives in a few esteros in Baja. Hello golf courses, goodbye, Beldings Yellowthroat.

oh my...can you post a photo of the more common look alike? we have some beautiful yellow birds around here and just wondering which ones they are...I'll take a closer look now.

I've always liked them. We see them at golf courses. We used to refer to them as the "masked bandit" but they never steal anything.

Sure okay. The Common Yellowthroat looks like this fuzzy photo.
Look at the BIG white stripe on the head
We see these birds all the time!

I guess I wasn't vary clear. The Common Yellowthroat's statis is Okay. The Beldings Yellowthroat is critically. endangered

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.
