Anyone Else Hate The New Ad Banners?

Asian and Latino dating-site banners on Baja Nomad?

Seriously? What next? Penis enhancement commercials?

Is this Baja Nomad website so destitute that its continued existence relies upon a proxy revenue stream from the world's lowest common denominator in advertising---the sale of "SEX!"

Anyone else here tired of being inundated with ads you don't want to see on every single page you visit on Baja Nomad nowadays?

I think the banner ads are automatically customized to each user, especially if you use Chrome. If you browse porn and sex sites, it will show you porn site ads here too. Funny how that cookies thing works, huh?

I also don't see those----right now the ones I see are for San Diego Real Estate, Baja Real Estate and San Diego roof repair------

all related to some of recent web searches----interesting, I never made that connection before.

I absolutely agree with jakecard. Lord knows, we pay an exhorbitant amount just to be members!:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Get a clue. When is the last time you attempted to watch a tube video, current events, replays of TV, or whatever. The upfront commercials are getting longer. Just the other day, I sat through a 30 second commercial in order to watch a 15 second clip of John Stewart.

Print media is fading. But, revenue to support professional organizations must be raised somehow.

Just think about it. If Doug didn't have advertising, there wouldn't be a Baja Nomad website.

If you continue to admit to stupidity, you will be banned from Nomads.

Anyway...it all comes around to the same defense mechanism everybody should be using with a pesky poster...If you don't like them, don't look at them. These ads will be good practice for our next thread villian.

The ads I'm getting here are showing new styles of Viking Caps.....

The ads are generated for the area you live/work/ browsing history/ect ...automatically.
