Rosarito FRAO: more than 800 expats leave Rosarito Beach due to US security warnings.

Interesting admission by the City of Rosarito although I really don't think it was just the home break-ins and some shoddy home repairs that drove them away. (I wonder how that even made the list of reasons why people left.)

Since the travel warnings issued by the U.S. started about insecurity in Baja California, in the past three years approximately 800 U.S. citizens have undertaken the exodus of Rosarito.

This was revealed by Antonio Cuevas Ruiz, head of care to foreign residents (FRAO) who said that "many go by what is happening, adding to the image that the U.S. wanted to give of which part is true and not another, many have left but we do not have exact numbers but only a calculation. "

He added that although U.S. authorities allege that the warnings are not specific to Baja California but is issued to towns like Juarez, this situation affects them anyway.

Cuevas Ruiz estimates that of the 800 Americans who left Rosarito, only about 300 have returned, so even going "well", it is a slow recovery.

He emphasized that the fifth municipality, the main complaints are channeled to this institution related to burglary and fraud by so-called "masters" who leave unfinished work in the home.
