These guys must be glad that someone re-invented Polaroid film.

I am always amazed at how many friends have photos of themselves on that cart with the painted donkey (mule?). I have one that is over 20 years old. Probably the same cart and donkey too. The Polaroid film made a grainy black and white photo-souvenir that looked like it was 20 years old the minute you go it. It is quintessential Tijuana. I think that is the best tourist promotion TJ has.

We have 4 generations of those photos started with my grandmother before she was married, next on her honeymoon. There's is one with my dad after the divorce. We skip to the early 60's with our family photos. Next on my honeymoon 1986, and the last is 15 years ago with the grand kids. We love the photos and the the stories they start.
When we told the photographer we had them going back to the 1920s he said it wasn't the same donkey;D;D;D
We also have with the drive through tree in Yosemite, now without the cars.

There has been one for a couple of years working the tourist "hot spots" here in Punta Banda. They live out here, somewhere.
