I can guarantee you it was chilly. It was around 62 at my place at parade time. That's cold for here.

Best Float...

I saw every float about a foot away...yes it was cold, and that float that you have a picture of was NOT the best float...it was the last one...and alot of people leaving the parade were walking in front of it....Telcel had a beautiful float....The bus one I would say was the most unattractive one...

"Best"........"unattractive".........subjective evaluations. 99% of the revelers at this bacchanal have no idea of the historic significance of the fiesta at hand anyway. They're still wandering around town, broom sticks in hand, looking for the Piņata Grande.

My favorite float

The Marineros float was very nice, Poncho the mascot was on it, a few of the cheerleaders, several players and the guy I circled in white. If you ever go to a game and sit in the seats behind home plate look for him. He is a regular at every game and is hoot to watch when he starts dancing.

Easy to judge..

We know but who cares what the historical significance is?? We were there to have fun...and we had a great time...to judge or comment without really being there is alot more difficult, however..no one was looking for a pinata but we did have the best pina coladas in town!.
