FISHERBIRD
check this out, amazing !
First sequence he catches half a dozen fish in one strike.
Second sequence he plunges talons-first into deep water right to the bottom to grab his prey.
Third sequence he captures a big old fat fish that looks as if it weighs more than he does!
This is incredible to watch...enjoy!

Amazing! Even more amazing is that as I was waiting for the video I heard and osprey out front and ran for the camera and got (I think) some shots of
it diving and scoring a fish. I'll post pics here if I did get any shots. ASAP
Here ya go

That video is absolutely freaking amazing. Talk about strength and talent. I thought he had bit off more than he could chew with that last one, but I
was certainly mistaken. Russ, that's quite a sequence you were able to capture as well.

Beautiful! I once watched an egret who discovered a unique way of fishing. This was in a small park in Raleigh, NC. People would scatter pieces of
bread there for the ducks etc. The egret, istead of eating the bread, gathered several pieces and dropped them on the water at the edge of a pond.
This "bait" then attracted small fish and the egret would scoop them up. Smart bird.
All my childhood I wanted to be older. Now I\'m older and this chitn sucks.

The frigate birds do that. I've seen them on the beach take scraps from the fishermen, soar out over the flats, drop em, zoom back for real meal. Wish
I had pictures like Russ.
