This proves to be very interesting...Mexican Irish Dancers from Tijuana at La Marina Cove in Ensenada at 4 pm on St. Patrick's Day...wouldn''t miss this for the world...only question is...do they speak Spanish with an Irish accent.??? only one way to find out!!!

The History of the St. Patrick's Battalion in Mexico, aka "Los San Patricios"


A fascinating story; these Irish immigrants were given passage to the U.S and conscripted into the U.S. army.

They felt oppressed and crossed the Rio Grande and fought for Mexico because the Mexican government promised land and a future.
