THE BAJA WESTERN ONION

I get this online news 2 times a week in my emails

it has tons of very interesting information which is NOT all only for La Paz residents

FOR EXAMPLE: In their last issue, there is an article about a site that reviews almost all the airlines to give you the least expensive price from destination A to destination B.

Hi Blanca,
The Western Onion is Todos Santos based and often includes valuable info from around Southern Baja. East cape particular. They had it running 3 x a week at one point and is now down again to Tuesday and Fridays. It is very effective in getting things done, sold or otherwise.

The grass is always greener....
and so, there is always a better spot in Baja

I will never forget Osprey's story about his visit to Todos no son Santenos! Some good info but you'll laugh at all the Healers, Guru's, and Galleria news. Gucci to Chic. .:O:spingrin: New Age, Nuclear Free zone. Cuidado?! Tio

No tio, YOU"LL laugh about what you deem inconsequential.
I'll read the Onion with an open mind and decide what interests me. :D

RE: The Baja Western Onion

Hey, thanks for the nod!

When I'm not busy with my day job, I'm also the publisher of the Baja Western Onion.

History: We started Emailing to about 60 friends and family on September 01, 2006, posting updates on Hurricane John from Todos Santos and have been publishing two to three times per week ever since. Now, after 5 years, we have over 3,400 subscribers throughout Baja, the US and Canada, and are happy to welcome new readers and contributors from all over.

We write some of the articles but most of the content comes from our readers. That's what it's for. You can post ads or announcements of your own for free (not to repeat more often than every 14 days for the same item, group, business or event).

You've find most of our back issues here: http://www.bajawesternonion.com/back-issues.asp

Here is the issue with the info about the cheap airfare locator site: http://www.bajawesternonion.com/issues/120316.html

More info on how to get a cheap flight to some US destinations using Volaris: http://www.bajawesternonion.com/issues/120229.html

Events Calendar here: http://www.bajawesternonion.com

Post an Ad, Event or Announcement: http://www.bajawesternonion.com/submitarticle.asp

Subscribe: http://www.bajawesternonion.com/subscribe.asp

Yes, it's Free - but only if you agree to receive it at no charge

I'm a fan of the Onion too. So far we've found a great chiropractor, a new tax preparer, and an excellent hair cutter/stylist- all folks who advertise, or were mentioned in the BWO. We're 6 hours from Todos Santos and don't get there often, but on trips to La Paz we'll plan a trip to TS for some of the services we haven't found anywhere closer. I wouldn't have known about them if not for the Onion. Thanks Alan
